MATHCOUNTS Sponsorship Information

    CALL FOR 2026 MATHCOUNTS VOLUNTEERS and SPONSORS!

    The Calusa Chapter MATHCOUNTS Competition is right around the corner! The competition will be held on February 7, 2026, at The Collaboratory, for middle school students across Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee counties. This competition is intended to engage students and nurture their mathematics and problem-solving abilities. I think you will agree that fostering these abilities in our students is vital to the future of the science and engineering fields.

    Ultimately, the students hope to advance to the Florida MATHCOUNTS Competition and represent our state on a national level. These young mathematicians spend months preparing for this event with the help of their teachers. Teachers volunteer as math coaches not only because they believe in their students but also the opportunities that the MATHCOUNTS competition provides them. We hope that you will help support our efforts to expand the opportunities available to the students for the competition and throughout the year.

    We are so excited to host this in person event! This year ALL volunteers will be required to submit for a background check. The application process is relatively simple. Please use the process below:

    1. Visit www.collierschools.com/volunteer to complete a volunteer application
      1. Select MATHCOUNTS for organization
      2. Select specific school site where the competition will be held. If the location is unknown prior to applying, the volunteer should select “MLK Administrative Center”
    2. The volunteer must watch the volunteer orientation video and review the handbook: https://www.collierschools.com/Page/19255
    3. Please send an email to [email protected] with your full name and a copy of your ID.

     

    Please indicate if you are able to volunteer by registering and answering the questions by clicking the REGISTER NOW button.

    If you would like to contribute, we offer the following sponsorship levels:

    Pythagoras
    $300 donation     - This sponsorship level includes your company name on the back of the competition t-shirt

    Einstein
    $400 donation -     This sponsorship level includes all benefits of Pythagoras and your company name on all breakfast tables

    Fibonacci
    $600 donation     - This sponsorship level includes all benefits of Einstein and recognition during the competition’s opening remarks

    Bacon
    $800 donation     – This sponsorship level includes all benefits of Fibonacci, in addition to, an announcement recognizing your company before and after the competition’s lunch break and recognition on all lunch tables

    Newton
    $1,200 donation     - The title sponsorship level includes your company name emphasized on the competition t-shirt, recognition announcements during all breaks, and the opportunity to attend the competition and get a picture with the student competitors.

    You can also support our competitors by pre-ordering an FES - Calusa Chapter 2026 MATHCOUNTS t-shirt! Please provide your t-shirt size when ordering. You can pick up your t-shirt during the competition.
